🔑 Technical Specifications of Biomass Pellets

The pellets must adhere to strict quality parameters to ensure compatibility with GHTP’s combustion system:

• Raw Material: Agro-residue (Wood-based pellets are NOT acceptable)
• Diameter: ≤ 25mm; No other dimension exceeding 35mm
• Bulk Density: ≥ 600 kg/m³
• Fines (<3mm): ≤ 5%
• Moisture Content: ≤ 14%
• Gross Calorific Value (GCV): 2800–4000 kcal/kg
• Mandatory Usage: At least 50% paddy straw from Punjab (documentary proof required)

🚚 Transportation & Unloading Requirements

• Mode: Covered trucks with waterproofing (Rail transport subject to approval)
• Unloading: Supplier to handle unloading using tipper trucks/trolleys
• Rejection Clause: If materials fail to meet specifications, PSPCL holds no liability
